Quantum Mechanics

The other day in class we learned about quantum mechanics. It is a bizarre field, and defies common knowledge. It almost seems that what goes on in the quantum world is impossible. It is one of those sciences that you can't clearly see what is happening, you just need to accept that it is true. We must understand that the world of atoms is much different than the world we live in. Quantum mechanics is extremely difficult to understand because we only have an understanding of what we encounter in our daily lives.
I think the best way that helped me understand what goes on in the quantum world was the quantum bar scene from the video. It gave an example of when you would order an orange drink, you could get the orange drink, but a blue one, a red one and many different other colors all at the same time. This helps to explain the double slit experiment where the atom could go into almost any direction and every one of those direction would be possible.
Below, I posted a somewhat related video to blow your mind.

I agree with what you say about the bizzarenesss of quantum mechanics. It is impossible to know what is going on, yet we are still being taught an imperfect lesson. I hope someone in the future will solve the mysteries of quantum mechanics in a simplified form. I also liked how the Quantum Bar scene described quantum mechanics. You ask for one drink, but you might get something totally different. Quantum mechanics is strange!

( P.S. I like the new video from youtube you put on. It explains quantum mechanics well)___ Ari P
