Video shows what the future holds for us

This video gave made me the impression of how America is really starting to lose some of the glory it has enjoyed in the past 50 years or so. American thrived during the 50's especially because the mainland U.S. was not attacked durring WWII. While many of the European countries were focusing on rebuilding their countries, America was able to be the dominant player on the global market. Now, Europe and the rest of the world is starting to grow and America does not have the supremacy that it used to have (thank you George Bush).
The section dealing with technology seemed to be much less depressing to me. We know technology is advancing faster and faster, and tools like the Internet and other inventions have made that possible. But it is too hard to predict know all the amazing technologies that would be coming in the future. 20 years ago, no one predicted that today you would be able to store thousands of songs and hundreds of videos inside your pocket. It will be amazing to see how future technologies will help to shape our society
